Ever wonder what it’s like to work with exaqueo? Every company has its own special flavor. At exaqueo, we’re proud of our NPS score of 96 (world class is 70) and the fact that 70% of our clients come back for additional work. And, just as not every job is the best fit for every candidate, not every employer brand partner is right for every company. You want to find the right fit by asking the right questions to see if this is a company you can trust. Step inside exaqueo for a short while to understand what it’s like to work with us, from the perspective of Alyssa Bani, one of our Principal Consultants.
1) How does exaqueo manage the beginning of an engagement to ensure clients are set up for success?
“We start each engagement with initiation and kickoff meetings to cover off on everything from tactical ways of working and communication preferences, to discussing strategic goals and success measures. Behind the scenes, each consultant immerses themselves in the client organization, industry, engagement scope and deliverables, and much more. There is an intentional transition from the business development and sales team to the delivery team to ensure the details are not overlooked, and we’re able to hit the ground running when we meet our clients.”
2) Describe the exaqueo “style” of working with clients.
“As consultants, we naturally ask a lot of questions. We don’t take things at face value. One of our values is “seek to understand.” We’re always digging deeper and connecting dots to get to root causes. We like to peel the layers back to understand the dynamics of an organization in order to provide recommendations that are targeted, based on data, and work in the overall context.
We’re “people” people. We not only care about our work, we know that the work we deliver reflects on our clients internally with their stakeholders. We all have worked in house and have faced the same challenges our clients face. We lean on our experience to advise clients on how to navigate them.
We are also constantly balancing efficiency and quality to ensure the product and service we deliver meet expectations of the investment.”
3) How do we best problem solve when scope creep or another challenge occurs?
“We present options and tradeoffs. We ask questions about priorities and make recommendations based on what we know about the organization. We have open and honest conversations, no surprises! Above all, we put ourselves in the clients’ shoes, and act with empathy.”
4) What would you say sets exaqueo apart when it comes to our client partnerships?
“Our interactions are partnerships. They’re not transactional. Personally, most of the engagements I lead are with long-standing clients that I’ve developed relationships with on a personal level.”
5) What are ways exaqueo supports clients outside of the standard scope of work?
“We celebrate personal and professional milestones of our clients. Whether it’s celebrating an employer brand award, a promotion, or the birth of a child, we’re our clients’ biggest champions. We also promote our clients any way we can in the industry, such as nominating them for awards, or making connections with other clients or contacts. Our clients have placed a bet on exaqueo, and we are so grateful for this and want to pay it forward to them any way we can.”
